Youth Rising: India

 

At 27, Dhara Shah is part of a growing group of female entrepreneurs who look to reshape the male-dominated tech scene in New Delhi, India, a country where only 14 percent of businesses are run by women. Half of India’s population of 1.3 billion citizens are under the age of 27 — and 1.3 million youth reach working age each month.
