James Valentini departs from the deanship of Columbia College with a legacy of personable, empathetic and consensus-minded leadership. 

One student says Dr. Valentini ‘made me feel as though whatever I had was the most important part of his day, and he was fully devoted to helping me solve it.’

Our film recounting Dr. Valentini’s achievements served as the centerpiece to a gala event at Gotham Hall in New York City and as the culmination of farewell events held for Mr. Valentini throughout spring 2022.
